….And we’re back! It was a long and eventful off-season and we’re happy to be back in full force for the Summer 2014 show season! We started off our season at Honda Day at Atco Raceway in mid-April. It was our first time there as a vendor, having previously attended Honda Day last year at Englishtown. Honda has no shortage of fans and enthusiasts, that’s for sure! We have to thank the guys over at Mackin Industries for allowing us to set up in the RavSpec booth for the course of the 2-day event. And you may be able to see us again at Honda Day in Englishtown in August! Plans are still tenative… Here are some photos from Honda Day, April 2014:
The weekend following Honda Day was the New York International Auto Show at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City. SoFresh had a little representation there on Level 1 with the RavSpec group 🙂 Here are some pictures of our very own “Wideload” Midnight Purple 2.5RS and friends:
Once the NYIAS was over, there was no rest for the weary. The gang packed up and headed down to Baltimore for the first annual BoxerFest meet at FedEx Field. BoxerFest is held by the same group that runs Wicked Big Meet, so we knew it was going to be a quality meet. The venue was awesome, the weather was great, and the people attending were even better! It was also the first time we whipped out our very own SoFresh Lifestyle & Apparel tent! Doesn’t it look fabulous? We’ll be seeing you again next year, guys! Here are some photos from BoxerFest:
After BoxerFest, we finally had some room to breathe before the summer season started. Next up was Wicked Big Meet at Stafford Motor Speedway in Stafford Springs, CT where we introduced the official 2014 Subiegang tee. To us, one of the best parts of WBM weekend is the pre-meet over at our friends’ place, ECS, and the dinner on the way back to NY at Texas Roadhouse in Manchester, CT. We first stopped at this Texas Roadhouse last year, with 20 people and 10 show cars. We made quite a scene and made lifelong friends with the manager and some of the servers. This year, we happened to pass by again, and were happy to find the same manager and servers working that night. The manager came over to us, elated that we thought of them again on this day and had hoped that she’d be seeing us again. Well, needless to say, it will become our annual tradition for as long as we keep going to Wicked Big Meet! If you’re ever in the Manchester area, stop by the Texas Roadhouse and tell Jackie SoFresh sent you!
To round off the month of June, we held our own booth at Formula Drift at Wall Speedway in New Jersey. Here, we introduced two drift-themed tank tops, as well as the long awaited ladies’ tank top! The ladies’ tank was one of the best sellers of the event, so much so that we have placed an order for more!
More to come! We’ve got shows/meets every weekend until September! Hope to see you at one or more of them!
